A good win against a very strong Bengeo team.
Callery opened the scoring after fine jinking run down the right side of the field. 1-0.
Minutes later, Lewis scored after picking up a loose ball following a clearance from a corner.2-0.
However, Bengeo faught back and scored directly from a corner. The ball skidded in between several players and nestled inside the far post. 2-1.
The second half started brightly for both teams. However, Callery was first to pick up on a loose ball and firec home. 3-1.
After the restart Barnes intercepted a stray pass and headed offf for goal. Unfortunately, he up-ended by a defender. Penalty awarded. Barnes took the resulting penalty, and sadly, sent the ball into row Z of the virtual stand!
Undeterred, Barnes had several more chances, mostly created from nothing.
Bengeo's never give up attitude was rewards with a close range effort the went into the far corner. 3-2.
With that, the final whistle blew!
